Doing therapy in a virtual world?
This is happening at Hope Clinic Vision Therapy (watch video) with our young and elderly patients. For therapy purposes, the brain doesn’t register the difference between real space and virtual space, allowing our patients to vastly improve their binocular skills in a virtual reality. These cutting-edge games bring excitement and fun into therapy. Learn how this works from Dr. Benjamin Winters, our therapists and our patients.
At Hope Clinic Vision Therapy, Virtual Reality is a valuable brain-training vehicle to build binocular skills. We have patients with Strabismus, Amblyopia, Convergence Insufficiency and TBI improving their vision skills and having a good time while doing so
