Optometric Vision Therapy
A structured, individualized approach to improving visual skills, comfort, and functional performance.

Optometric vision therapy is a personalized, doctor-supervised program designed to improve how visual skills function in real life. By strengthening the connection between the eyes and the brain, vision therapy can reduce symptoms and improve performance in activities like reading, learning, working, and daily movement.
• Reduce visual symptoms such as headaches, eye strain, fatigue, double vision, dizziness, and difficulty concentrating
• Address visual problems that interfere with reading, learning, work, or daily activities
• Build visual skills needed for efficiency, accuracy, and comfort
• Improve stamina and performance during sustained visual tasks
• Treat or compensate for visual conditions that limit everyday function
Vision therapy is not eye exercises and it is not about strengthening eye muscles. Instead, it focuses on improving how visual skills are coordinated, timed, and integrated with the brain.

A variety of specialized lenses, prisms, filters, 3D technology, computerized activities, balance tasks, and hands-on tools may be used to challenge the visual system in a controlled, purposeful way. These tools are selected and adjusted based on each patient’s needs and progress.
• Learning-related vision problems
• Concussion or brain injury recovery
• Eye teaming, tracking, or focusing difficulties
• Strabismus or amblyopia
• Visual discomfort, headaches, or fatigue
A functional vision evaluation helps determine whether visual skill challenges are contributing to symptoms and whether vision therapy is appropriate.
